Step 1:
Build an 18′x10′ rectangle box using 2”x8”x10′ joist. Set the joist 16 inches on center apart from each other.
Step 2:
Make sure the end of the frame is flush with the end of the supporting beams and equal distance front and back.
Step 3:
Measure from corner to corner of the frame making an X shape to check for square.
Step 4:
Attach all joist to main supporting beams.
Step 5:
Add insulation between each joist then cover with a vapor barrier.

Step 6: Cover the entire subfloor with 4′x8′ 3/4″ waferboard.
